The 56Fe/54Fe and 57Fe/54Fe ratios were analyzed by multiple-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The effect of hydrochloric acid concentration on the extraction of Fe(III) has been investigated in the range of 0.47 to 2.37 mol·L − 1, keeping Fe(III) concentration at 5.0 × 10 − 3 mol·L − 1 in the aqueous phase, and 0.20 mol·L − 1 T2EHDGA in toluene, n-hexane, n-octane and n-dodecane as solvent, respectively.
